DNA registration is not mandatory at this time, but the ABRA has made the promise to it's customers that as soon as 50% of the new litters are DNA'd, the other 50% will be required to do so. Start now!
DNA kits are now available, please send an email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it to request your kit. The cost is $35/kit, you will need 2 for your first litter. Once your dog has been DNA'd the results are kept for life and all offspring of 2 DNA'd parents can be matched. You will be sent a paypal invoice for payment. You will receive a DNA certificate in the mail from the ABRA and the DNA number will be recorded on your dog's ABRA certificate, a duplicate certificate will be mailed at no additional cost. Puppies that match out of 2 DNA'd parents will receive the DNA VIP designation and that designation will be on the temporary puppy certificates as well as the permanent ABRA registration certificate.
